25 July 2024 – H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, received a courtesy visit from H.E. Dr. Mohammad Fahmi bin Ngah, Selangor State Executive Council (Exco) for Islamic Affairs and Innovation Culture. Dr. Fahmi and representatives from Halal International Selangor were on a working visit to Japan to explore business opportunities and gain insights into Japan’s technological advancements for potential adoption in Selangor’s halal industry.
During the meeting, both sides discussed various business opportunities, including the supply chain and distribution.
