22 July 2024 – In conjunction with the upcoming International Horticulture Expo 2027, H.E. Kazuhiko Koshikawa, Commissioner of the event, made a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan. During the meeting, H.E. Koshikawa briefed on the event’s objectives, on-going preparation and expressing hope for Malaysia’s participation. H.E. Dato’ Ambassador reaffirmed Malaysia’s confidence in Japan’s ability to organise the international event successfully.
In addition, H.E. Dato’ Ambassador promoted the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro-tourism Show (MAHA) 2024, scheduled to take place from 11 to 22 September 2024 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).
The International Horticulture Expo 2027 will be held in Yokohama, Japan, from 19 March to 26 September 2027, under the theme ‘Scenery of the Future for Happiness’.
