2 December 2025 – H.E. Ms. Hanako Okada, Member of Parliament from Aomori Prefecture, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendy Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss potential collaboration between a city in Aomori Prefecture and a Malaysian city, with the aim of further strengthening Malaysia–Japan bilateral relations, including deeper cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
