15 March 2023 – The Chief Representative (Japan) of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), Mr. Ezhar Yazid Jaafar, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan.
Mr. Ezhar briefed on the preparation of the upcoming Petronas Japan Media Briefing that will be held on 17 March 2023. H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Shahril expressed his hope to see the success of the event and applauded Petronas’s initiatives in engaging with the local media.
Last year, Malaysia exported 12 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Japan, the second-biggest supplier of the fuel after Australia.
