Courtesy Call by Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo, Chief Representative of Komeito Party

28 June 2024 – Mr. Yamaguchi Natsuo, Chief Representative of the Komeito Party, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan. Also present were Ms. Takeya Toshiko, Chair of the Komeito’s Women’s Committee, and Mr. Nakagawa Yasuhiro, Vice Director of the Local Assembly Bureau. During the meeting, Mr. Yamaguchi praised Malaysia-Japan bilateral relations, highlighting the mutual benefits of their strong economic partnership and cultural exchange. H.E. Ambassador Dato’ stated that frequent high-level visits from both countries signify the close bilateral partnership and expressed his hope that the bilateral relations would be further strengthened under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). H.E. Ambassador Dato’ also took the opportunity to wish Mr. Yamaguchi and his colleagues a fruitful working visit to Malaysia from 8 to 9 July 2024.
