24 July 2023 - The Embassy of Malaysia in Japan had the honour to receive a visit headed by H.E. Datuk Seri Isham Ishak, Secretary General of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI). During the visit, Datuk Seri Isham Ishak was accompanied by Ms Shamilah Perumal, Director of Secretariat Malaysia Expo 2025 Osaka, officials from MITI as well as Ministry of Finance (MOF).
Datuk Seri Isham Ishak shared the progress of the development of Malaysia Pavilion for the World Osaka Expo 2025 during the visit. The Secretary General who was received by Mr Anwar Udzir, the Deputy Chief of Mission also took the opportunity to brief the officers of the Embassy on the current policy direction, trends of trade and investment in Malaysia as well as the national aspiration with regards to that matters.
Entitled “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, the World Osaka Expo 2025 is scheduled to take place for 6 months from 13 April to 13 October 2025.
