25 July 2023 - Mr Masahiro Okuno-Fujiwara, President of the Foundation for the Welfare & Education of the Asian People (FWEAP) called on Mr Anwar Udzir, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) of the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo. The president of the foundation was accompanied by Mr Kazuhiko Anzai, Advisor to the President as well as Ms Naoko Yoshimura from the Operation Division of the Foundation.
During the call, Mr Fujiwara briefed the Embassy on the FWEAP Special Invitation Session 2023 / 2024 where the foundation is seeking for participation of Malaysia. The Special Invitation Session which will be held in April 2024 in Tokyo, is a platform to discuss social welfare governance mainly in the region. FWEAP has hosted social activists in both public and private sectors from 17 Asian countries in Japan since 1978.
