18 November 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia welcomed a delegation of five students from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Shahida binti Mohd Shah from the Faculty of Engineering Technology.
During the visit, the Embassy delivered a briefing on the roles and functions of Malaysian Embassies abroad, highlighting the Embassy’s responsibilities in diplomatic engagement, consular assistance, and promoting Malaysia’s interests overseas. The students were also briefed on the current state of Malaysia–Japan bilateral relations, including cooperation in education, technology, and people-to-people exchanges. The students actively participated in a Q&A session, raising insightful questions about diplomatic work, career pathways in foreign service, and Malaysia’s strategic relations with Japan.
The Embassy wishes the students every success in their academic pursuits and future careers, and hopes that the visit has inspired a deeper interest in international relations and Malaysia’s role on the global stage.
