15 January 2026 – The Malaysian delegation of the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo, where they were received by Mr. Zainal Azlan Mohd Nadzir, Deputy Chief of Mission. SSEAYP is a joint project between ASEAN member countries and Japan, aimed at promoting friendship and mutual understanding among youths of ASEAN and Japan. It also aspires to contribute to the development of practical skills for international collaboration, while enhancing participants’ knowledge and leadership skills.
During the courtesy visit, the delegation briefed the Embassy on the activities which will be undertaken, which include opportunities to promote Malaysian culture, and received insights into various aspects of Japan relevant to the program.
The Embassy extends its appreciation to the delegation for taking time to visit the Embassy, and wishes all participants every success throughout the program.
