13 January 2026 – The Embassy of Malaysia Club (EOMC) hosted a Farewell Reception in honour of Mr. Jeffry Meyer, First Secretary (Information & Public Relations), on the occasion of the completion of his three-year tour of duty in Japan. The event was attended by Embassy officers and their spouses, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and deep appreciation for Mr. Jeffry’s dedicated service.
During the reception, H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan and Patron of the EOMC, presented Mr. Jeffry Meyer with a token of appreciation in recognition of his commitment, professionalism, and significant contributions throughout his tenure. In his remarks, Mr. Jeffry Meyer expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador, colleagues, and members of the Embassy community for their support and friendship during his posting in Japan, noting that the experience would remain a cherished chapter in his diplomatic career.
