21 February 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia Club (EOMC) organised a Farewell Reception in honour of Mr. Mohd Amin bin Mekah, Office Secretary of the Embassy, as he concludes his tour of duty in Japan. Mr. Amin, who arrived in Tokyo on 19 May 2022, has made significant contributions to the Embassy during his tenure, and the reception celebrated his dedication and service to the mission.
Prior to the reception, a Farewell Bowling Tournament was held at the Tokyo Port Bowl, with the MIDA team emerging as champions. The Wisma Putra C team secured second place, while JPM finished in third. The friendly competition provided a fun and lively atmosphere for Embassy staff and their families to come together, marking the occasion with team spirit and camaraderie.
The event was a fitting tribute to Mr. Amin's work and an opportunity to strengthen bonds among the Embassy staff as they bid him farewell.
