On 26 August 2013, the Embassy welcomed a group of engineering students from the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) Skudai, Johor. The 25 students who were on a weeklong study trip to Tokyo met and collaborated with their counterparts from Meiji University.
Mr. Syed Farizal Aminy Syed Mohamad, the Counsellor expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to have an exchange of views between the students and the Embassy representatives on the role of the Embassy, Malaysia’s foreign policy and students affairs. Ms. Noor Hidayu Hashim, Counsellor (Human Resources Department) went on to acknowledge the students’ efforts and strong interest in their chosen fields of study and encouraged them to stay focused on their goals. The program was concluded with question and answer (Q&A) session and a photo session.
