27 June 2023 - The ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Handover Ceremony was hosted by H.E. Mr. Haji Shahbudin Haji Musa, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Japan. The event was held to mark the end of ACT chairmanship of Brunei Darussalam (Jan-June 2023) and the appointment of H.E. Mr. Tuy Ry, Ambassador of Cambodia to Japan as the new Chairman of the ACT for the term July-Dec 2023.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Japan would like to congratulate the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Tokyo for its hard work and successful coordination during its chairmanship. The Embassy would also like to convey best wishes to the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Tokyo and ever ready to work hand-in-hand to ensure the success of ACT, especially in commemorating the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, at the end of this year.
