The Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House on Friday, 15 June 2018 (1 Syawal 1439 Hijri). Around 500 guests including Malaysian professionals and students residing in Tokyo and the surrounding Kanto area as well as Home-Based Staff of the Embassy and Malaysian Agencies in Tokyo along with their family members had attended the event which was held at the Chancery of the Embassy.
The event began at 9.00 AM with the congregational Sunat Aidilfitri prayer followed by a sermon at the Multipurpose Hall.
In a reception held at the foyer of the Chancery, guests were feted to a buffet of delectable Malaysian delicacies including nasi impit and rendang daging among others. Guests had the opportunity to interact with other fellow Malaysians during the event which ended at 11.00 AM.
