Mr Hendy Assan, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo hosted a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House on Monday, 28 July 2014. The event, which was held at the Embassy, was attended by approximately 350 guests comprising Malaysian students and professionals in Tokyo (mostly in the Kanto area), home based staff including agencies in Tokyo and family members. This event was held as part of the ‘Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia’ (PMRM) activities for the year 2014.
During the event, guests took the opportunity to interact with other fellow Malaysians. Traditional dishes such as rendang daging, nasi himpit and traditional Malay cakes and local delicacies were served.
