27 February 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia, led by Ms. Syeliza Abd Aziz, Director of Tourism Malaysia (Tokyo), attended the “Soul of ODYSSEY” theatre production, a collaborative project between Malaysian and Japanese artists at the Suzunari Theatre. Directed by the renowned Hiroshi Koike, the performance featured an exceptional cast from both Malaysia and Japan, and ran from 22 to 28 February 2025.
This unique collaboration provided a platform for artists from both nations to creatively express themselves and engage audiences with their diverse cultural perspectives. The production was a testament to the power of cross-cultural collaboration and the ability of the arts to foster mutual understanding.
The Embassy is proud to support such initiatives and looks forward to continuing its efforts in promoting the arts as a key aspect of Malaysia-Japan relations. Kudos to all the artists and organizers for making “Soul of ODYSSEY” a memorable and impactful experience.
