18 April 2023 – H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan attended an Iftar event hosted by H.E. Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, after a three-year lapse due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was a means for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to engage the Muslim embassies in Tokyo with a briefing on a number of upcoming initiatives including the Sustainable High City Tech Tokyo (SusHi Tech) project.
Ambassadors were also given the opportunity to try their hands at Mokuhanga, the Japanese art of woodblock printing using water-based ink.
