Effective 24 June 2020, International Students who wish to enter Malaysia, are required to comply with the following procedures during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, in the following order:
- Register with the Ministry of Education (MOE) or Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE)
- Receive the approval from MOE/MOHE through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS)
- Submit an application to the Immigration Department of Malaysia for entry approval
- Test NEGATIVE for Covid-19 through the PCR Covid-19 Swab Test WITHIN THREE (3) days before entering Malaysia.
- Download the "MySejahtera" App and complete the relevant details
- Undergo health screening at KLIA/Entry points
- Home-quarantine for 14 days while adhering to the quarantine procedures set by NADMA and Ministry of Health of Malaysia.
