5 October 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia in Japan participated in the International Education Expo Tokyo 2025, held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Trade Center. The Embassy joined the Malaysia Zone, which featured several renowned international schools from Malaysia, including Adcote Matrix International School, Concord College International School, Epsom College Malaysia, King Henry VIII College, Peninsula International School Australia (Malaysia Campus), Sunway International School Kuala Lumpur (SISKL), and UCSI International School.
Mr. Jeffry Meyer, First Secretary, represented the Embassy as one of the panellists in a Talk Show session themed “Malaysia as a Preferred Study Destination for Japanese Students”. During the session, he highlighted Malaysia’s strengths as a global education hub, emphasising its high-quality English-medium education, multicultural environment, affordable cost of living, and globally recognised institutions. The Embassy also conducted a Batik Painting activity, which attracted many visitors and provided them with a hands-on cultural experience showcasing Malaysia’s artistic heritage.
The Malaysia Zone successfully highlighted Malaysia’s growing reputation as an education destination of choice and strengthened awareness among Japanese families about the diverse educational pathways and cultural experiences Malaysia has to offer.
