Malaysia - Japan Teenage Ambassadors 2025 by the AEON 1% Club Foundation

11 November 2025 – The Embassy was pleased to receive a group of students from SMK Dato Onn, SMK Cochrane Perkasa, Mie Prefectural Yokkaichi High School, and Tsukuba University Affiliated Sakado High School, who were participating in the Malaysia-Japan Teenage Ambassadors 2025, organised by the AEON 1% Club Foundation. The welcoming event was graced by the presence of Mr. Okada Motoya, Chairman of AEON Group and Mr. Watanabe Hiroyuki, Chairman of AEON 1% Club Foundation, as well as senior officials from the AEON Group and the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.

 

The Malaysia-Japan Teenage Ambassadors 2025 is a programme aimed to foster interaction, strengthen ties and deepen mutual understanding and friendship between high school students from both countries, as well as to build long-lasting connections and a global outlook among youth through such exchange activities.

 

The Embassy expressed its appreciation to the AEON 1% Club Foundation for its long-standing commitment to fostering people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Japan, especially among youth. The Embassy hopes that the meaningful friendships and insights gained through this programme will inspire the participants to contribute positively to the future of Malaysia–Japan relations.
