Malaysia's Independence Day Celebrated in Tokyo

Malaysian Ambassador to Japan, Dato' Mohd Radzi Abdul Rahman and his wife, Datin Jazlila Jalaludin hosted a reception at a hotel in Tokyo on 2 September 2007 to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Independence of Malaysia. More than 400 guests including local dignitaries, members of the Diet, senior government officials, representatives of the academia and think tanks, members of the Diplomatic Corps, prominent members of local business community as well as Malaysians working and studying in Japan attended the reception. No celebration is complete without Malaysian delicacies such as satay, beef rendang, chicken red curry, fried noodle and otak-otak.
