14 to 30 March 2023 – The Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo hosted 63 participants of the “Stamp Rally” event, a part of the Minato City World Festival 2023. The festival was organised by the Minato City Office and aimed to offer its citizens, both Japanese and foreigners of all ages, a chance to experience the cultures of other countries.
During the event, the Embassy took the opportunity to showcase Malaysia’s natural beauty and cultural diversity through videos and a lecture entitled “Malaysia Truly Asia”. The participants also had a chance to take photos with Malaysian traditional costumes exhibited in the gallery, and to learn basic Malay language.
Minato City is home to more than 80 foreign embassies. The festival provides the opportunity for residents in Minato City to deepen their understanding about the richness of Malaysian culture and for them to experience the uniqueness of Malaysian identity.
