MINISTER OF TOURISM'S WORKING VISIT TO HOKKAIDO AND TOKYO

The Honourable Dato’ Sri Azalina Dato’ Othman Said, Minister of Tourism of Malaysia undertook a working visit to Hokkaido and Tokyo from 5 to 6 February 2009. She was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Tourism and Tourism Malaysia.

The programme in Hokkaido included the ‘Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H)’ Seminar held in collaboration with The Hokkaido Shimbun and a tour to the site of the 60^th Sapporo Snow Festival which Malaysia took part in. In Tokyo, Dato’ Sri Azalina had a luncheon with senior officials from Japan Travel Association of Travel Agent (JATA) and Japan Tourism Agency (JTA)to exchange views and information on the tourism industry in both countries.
