29 July 2024 – A Networking Dinner was hosted by H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan, at his residence. The dinner was attended by H.E. Haneda Koji, Commissioner General of the 2025 World Exposition, H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Yusuf Ahmed Aldoseri, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan; H.E. Ruben Eduardo Miguel Tempone, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentine to Japan; H.E. Ibrahim Bileh Doualeh, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to Japan; and H.E. Kunihiko Hirabayashi, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Japan Center.
During the dinner, various issues related to geopolitics both at regional and global levels were discussed including Malaysia’s chairmanship for ASEAN in 2025 as well as preparation for the World Expo Osaka 2025.
