4 February 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia in Japan was honoured to be invited and delivered a talk to 50 first-year students at the Aoi Junior High School, Tokyo. The session aimed to introduce Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, bilateral relations with Japan, and the importance of global understanding and respect among young learners.
During the talk, Embassy representatives engaged students with interactive discussions, highlighting Malaysia’s diverse traditions, festivals and unique aspects of its society. The students showed great enthusiasm, asking insightful questions about Malaysian customs, education, and daily life. In addition, the students were also delivered several presentations about Japanese culture.
This initiative aligns with the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to foster cross-cultural exchanges and strengthen people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Japan. The Embassy looks forward to future collaborations with educational institutions to inspire greater interest in Malaysia among Japanese youth.
