12 December 2025 – Ten students from Sakai Junior High School visited the Embassy for a Public Diplomacy Programme, organised as part of their field project to learn more about Malaysia.
During the programme, the Embassy delivered a briefing on Malaysia’s multicultural society, the historical background of the formation of Malaysia, and higher education opportunities available to international students. The session also featured an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which students expressed keen interest in Malaysia’s culture, education system, and people-to-people exchanges.
The visit contributed significantly to the Embassy’s public diplomacy efforts by fostering greater awareness and understanding of Malaysia among Japanese youth, while strengthening grassroots engagement and promoting long-term people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Japan.
