19 November 2025 – The Embassy of Malaysia was honoured to be invited by Wayo Women’s University to deliver a lecture on Malaysia’s Multicultural Co-existence. Represented by Mr. Jeffry Meyer (First Secretary), the Embassy presented Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage with special emphasis on Visit Malaysia Year 2026. The programme was attended by around 30 students and faculty members, including representatives from the neighbouring Chiba University of Commerce.
Following the lecture, Mr. Jeffry also conducted a Batu Seremban workshop, offering participants a hands-on opportunity to experience one of Malaysia’s traditional games. The interactive session drew active participation and further enriched the cultural exposure of the students.
The programme resulted in several positive outcomes, including enhanced awareness of Malaysia’s multicultural identity, strengthened academic linkages with both Wayo Women’s University and Chiba University of Commerce, and increased interest in Malaysia’s tourism and cultural heritage. The Embassy looks forward to continuing similar engagements to promote deeper understanding and build stronger people-to-people connections between Malaysia and Japan.
