YB Dato’ Hasan bin Malek, Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism (KPDNKK) officiated the “Taste of Malaysia 2013” at AEON Tsudanuma Outlet, Chiba Prefecture on 28 September 2013. The annual program was jointly organized by the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism and AEON Group. TYT Datuk Shaharuddin Md. Som, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan accompanied YB Minister KPDNKK along with the AEON Group Top Managements as well as Senior Officials of KPDNKK at the event.
A total of 75 Malaysian products such as fruits, instant and canned foods were brought in through the AEON Group for sale at the outlet. Among AEON outlets nationwide, AEON Tsudanuma outlet has recorded the highest sales due to its location and one of the reasons for the outlet to be selected by KPDNKK for the Taste of Malaysia 2013 program this year. The program was also enlivened by a stage performance of Malaysia traditional dance by Malaysian students from Chiba Prefecture.
