THE ANNUAL ASEAN COMMITTEE IN TOKYO BOWLING TOURNAMENT 24 March 2012

The annual ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) Bowling Tournament was held at Tokyo Port Bowl, Shibaura, Tokyo on 24 March 2012.

The Embassy of Malaysia including nine other ASEAN Embassies in Tokyo took part in the tournament which was organized by the Royal Embassy of Cambodia. The tournament was played over three games.

The Embassy of Malaysia’s team comprised of TYT Ambassador Datuk Shaharudin Md. Som, Mr.Solehuddin Ahmad, Mdm.Roslina Mat Dom, Corporal Tarmizi Md Nooh, Mr. Abdul Razak Mohd Yassin, Mr.Dzulkafli Mohd Sharif and Mr. Jeffery Yahya.

The Embassy of Malaysia’s team has played a fine bowling and managed to improve its ranking at the third place (in 2011 our team finished the tournament at the fourth place), while one of our player Mr.Jeffery Yahya has won the “First Runner Up Prize – Men” category. The Championship for this year went to the Embassy of the Philippines while the Embassy of Singapore came in at the second place.
