4 July 2023 – The Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo received a visit by YBhg. Dato’ Zulkifly bin Ibrahim, Executive Director of Nichimen Resources Sdn Bhd who was accompanied by Mr Yasuharu Inoue, CEO of Yasu Project Co. Ltd. and officials from Yasu Project Co. Ltd. In the courtesy call, Mr Anwar Udzir, the Deputy Chief of Mission was joined by Mr Radzween Abdul Razak, Minister Counsellor and Mr Izran bin Abdullah, Director of Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) in Tokyo.
During the meeting, the Executive Director of Nichimen Resources Sdn Bhd introduced and explained the company’s innovative collaboration with Yasu Project Co. Ltd. in producing its product – the Mobile Mosque – which will be assembled in Malaysia for international market.
Equipped with air-conditioning, the mobile mosque could accommodate up to 100 people at one time, complete with ablution (wudhu) area. The Mobile Mosque has facilitated Muslims in performing their prayers, including during the largest sports event in the world – Olympic Tokyo 2020.
