25 August 2023 – Mr Anwar Udzir, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo attended the Welcoming Reception of the 1st Asian Statespersons Forum organised by Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF).
The event was officiated by H.E. Hayashi Yoshimasa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan and attended by leaders from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan. The forum aims to provide a framework for face-to-face dialogue between policy makers both in the Southeast Asian countries and Japan. It also promotes mutual understanding, building network and establishing a foundation for peaceful and stable society in the region.
