Working Luncheon with H.E. Okano Masataka, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan

18 June 2024 – H.E. Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan hosted a luncheon in honour of H.E. Okano Masataka, Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan. Various issues of mutual concerns were discussed including the Malaysia-Japan bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues. H.E. Okano extended his appreciation of the long-standing bilateral relations between Malaysia and Japan and reiterated Japan’s commitment to work closely with Malaysia as the Chair of ASEAN in 2025.
