13 April 2023 – In support of this year’s World #QuranHour campaign, His Excellency Dato’ Shahril Effendi Abd Ghany, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan; and spouse, YBhg. Datin Suriyah Abdullah participated in the World #QuranHour 2023, together with all Home-based Staff of the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo, Japan.
World #QuranHour is a campaign initiated by Warisan Ummah Ikhlas Foundation (WUIF) to encourage every individual to interact with Al-Quran through reading, understanding and application. It is an effort to instill compassion as a way of life.
This year, Surah Al-Insan (The Human) was chosen as a theme to remind us on Allah’s generousity and encourage us to be grateful for what we have.
Surah Al-Insan is the 76th Surah of the Quran and was revealed in Medina. It contains 31 verses. This Surah reflects the power of Allah S.W.T., the consequences of good and bad deeds and the rewards and punishment from our actions.
