The ASEAN Entrepreneurs’ Award 2025 was held on 10 September 2025 at Ruby Hall, The Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The event was co-organised by the ASEAN-Korea Centre and Maekyung Media Group and marked the 10th edition of this prestigious programme, spotlighting innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability in the ASEAN business community. Also present at the award ceremony was H.E Dato Mohd Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea.
The recipients of the ASEAN Entrepreneurs’ Award 2025 were Tan Sri Nazir Razak of Malaysia and Mrs. Marisa Chearavanont of Thailand. Tan Sri Nazir Razak is Chairman and Founding Partner of Ikhlas Capital and former Chairman of CIMB Group, while Mrs. Marisa Chearavanont is Special Advisor to CP Group and Founder of the Chef Cares Foundation. Both were honoured for their leadership in innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability within the ASEAN region.
Following the award ceremony, the two recipients participated in a dialogue session moderated by Ambassador Cecilia Chung Eui‑hae, Special Representative for the Indo‑Pacific Region at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. During the session, they shared insights on leadership, innovation, corporate social responsibility, and the dynamic evolution of the ASEAN business landscape.
