JOINUS KOREA INTERVIEWS AMBASSADOR FOR GRAND LAUNCHING OF WEBSITE
JOINUS KOREA, a private agency supported by the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Employment and Labour in Korea, in preparation for the grand launching of its website in March 2012 conducted interviews with several foreign ambassadors in Korea. Malaysia was of particular interest due to the country’s multicultural background. JOINUS KOREA aims to enhance the understanding of multiculturalism through its support of foreign residents and tourists in a range of areas covering tourism, language/communication, security and medical, legal, and education services.
H.E. Dato’ Ramlan Ibrahim, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea was interviewed on a range of topics by a Malaysian student in Korea and a Korean who had studied Malay/Indonesian. During the interview conducted entirely in Malay, the Ambassador talked about Malaysia’s rich and diverse culture, its attractions as well as the country’s promotional activities in Korea. There was also discussion on Malaysia’s incentives to foreign investors including Korean businessmen. The interviewers wanted to know about the new initiatives under the Look East Policy and Malaysians’ perception of Korea. Dato’ Ramlan also highlighted the strong bilateral and people-to-people relations between Malaysia and Korea.
