Sarawak Investment and Timber Selling Mission to Korea, 10-15 January 2012

 

The Honourable Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, Second Minister of Resource Management and Environment, Minister of Industrial Development, Minister of Public Utilities, Sarawak cum Chairman of STIDC Board of Management opened the Sarawak timber mission to Korea with a keynote address at Lotte Hotel on 11 January 2012. In his speech, the Minister invited Korean businessmen to partake of the opportunities in the timber industry in the state of Sarawak and especially in the Sarawak Corridor of Renewal Energy (SCORE). Meanwhile, H.E. Dato’ Ramlan Ibrahim, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea in making the opening remarks for the event, highlighted the steadfast bilateral relations between Malaysia and Korea. The Sarawak Investment and Timber Selling Mission attracted a large audience of Korean businessmen.
