SITE VISIT TO MALAYSIA PAVILION AT EXPO 2012 YEOSU KOREA
The Secretary General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE), Dato’ Zoal Azha Yusof, led a team of NRE officers – Undersecretary of Biodiversity and Forestry Management Division Ms Zurinah Pawanteh and Principal assistant Secretary of Bisodiversity and Forest Management Division and Project Director Ms Farrah Shameen Mohamad Ashray - on a visit to Yeosu, Korea to survey the progress of the Malaysia Pavilion at the International Exposition Yeosu Korea 2012 or Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea that will run from 12 May to 12 August 2012. The Minister Counsellor from the Embassy of Malaysia, Mr Abdullah Zawawi Tahir, Counsellor Ms Sulochana K Indran and Director of Tourism in Korea Mr Mohd Amirul Rizal accompanied the NRE team on the visit on 22 and 23 April 2012. The Malaysia Pavilion themed “A Sea of Life: A Harmony of Living” will have its official launch on 11 June 2012.The Malaysian consultant company Bangimas Sdn Bhd has been overseeing all aspects of the construction of the Malaysia Pavilion since last year under the overall supervision of the project by NRE.
