Malaysia, together with other ASEAN Member States, participated in the recently concluded 28th ASEAN - ROK Dialogue, which was held on 4 April 2024. The Dialogue was co-chaired by Vietnam and ROK in the former's capacity as the country coordinator for ASEAN - ROK relations. The Deputy Director-General of the ASEAN - Malaysia National Secretariat represented Malaysian SOM Leader at the said Dialogue. Also present at the Dialogue was H.E. Dato Astanah Abdul Aziz, former Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Morocco who is now the Deputy Secretary-General in charge of the ASEAN Political-Security Pillar at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta.
