68TH NATIONAL DAY OF MALAYSIA CELEBRATION IN MOROCCO
On 25 September 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Rabat hosted a reception to celebrate the 68th National Day of Malaysia. The joyous occasion, held at the Embassy, was graced by the presence of His Excellency Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Kingdom of Morocco, as Guest of Honour. The celebration was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco; members of the diplomatic corps; representatives from the Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services; Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) alumni; as well as the Malaysian community in Morocco. In his welcoming remarks, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Morocco, Dato’ Shahabudeen Adam Shah, highlighted the strong and enduring bilateral ties between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Morocco. Guests were also treated to Malaysia’s signature Satay, specially prepared by PERWAKILAN Rabat, bringing a flavour of home to the celebration.
