The ASEAN Committee in Rabat (ACR) met with Mdm. Mbarka Bouaida, Minister Delegate of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco, at the latter’s office on 29 April 2016. The ACR was represented by Ambassadors of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, and the Charge d’Affaires of Brunei, with officials from the respective Embassies. The Moroccan side also included Mr. Mohamed Maliki, Director of Asian and Oceanic Affairs and several other officials from the Ministry. The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss Morocco’s application to accede to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC).
