ASEAN FORUM IN RABAT
Rabat, 20 November 2025 – The ASEAN Committee in Rabat (ACR) and the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Mohammed V University in Rabat, successfully organized the ASEAN Forum Morocco. The event was officiated by H.E. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rhachi, President of Mohammed V University, and attended by ASEAN Heads of Mission in Rabat, as well as, students and faculty members of the university. The Forum aimed to further promote ASEAN in Morocco and strengthen cooperation between ASEAN and Morocco, including in the field of higher education.
During the Forum, Ambassador Dato’ Shahabudeen Adam Shah highlighted key achievements under ASEAN-Malaysia Chairmanship 2025, including the adoption of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045. He also underscored the importance of enhancing collaboration in higher education between ASEAN and Morocco, and emphasized the strengthening of ASEAN–Morocco cooperation within the framework of the ASEAN–Morocco Sectoral Dialogue Partnership.
