HE Maj. Gen. Edy Imam Mulyono, Force Commander of MINURSO at Layounne paid a courtesy call on HE Ambassador Jamal Hassan on 24 December 2013. During the visit, Ambassador Jamal Hassan congratulated the appointment of HE Maj. Gen Imam Mulyono as the new Force Commander of MINURSO beginning last Septermber. He also expressed appreciation to MINURSO officials for the facilities to meet and host Merdeaka Day with our Malaysian contingent serving in Layounne on 31 August 2013.
2. HE Maj. Gen Edy Iman Mulyono expressed appreciation for being able to pay courtesy calls on the ASEAN Heads of Mission and would welcome and facilitate the planned visit of ASEAN Heads of Mission to Layounne next year.
