COURTESY CALL ON H.E. JAMAL HASSAN, AMBASSADOR OF MALAYSIA IN RABAT BY MR. ABBAS MRGARI, VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE URBAN COMMUNE, MEKNES, MOROCCO

Rabat, 4 February 2014 - A delegation led by Mr. Abbas Mrgari, Vice-President of the Urban Commune in Meknes paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Jamal Hassan on 4 February 2014.  The objective of their  visit is to explore and  enhance cooperation between the Meknes Municipality with their counterparts in Malaysia.  The delegation expressed the sentiments  that similar MOU arrangements made with  EU countries could be made with Malaysia.

The Vice-President also took the opportunity to  invite the Ambassador for a briefing and familiarization visit to Meknes which is known for its agriculture and cultivation of olive oil and animal husbandry.  Meknes is also the venue for Morocco to host  the annual  International Agriculture Exhibition.
