MALAYSIA FOOD AND CULTURE FESTIVAL 2025 IN RABAT
On 25 October 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Rabat hosted the Malaysia Food and Culture Festival 2025, celebrating Malaysia’s vibrant cultural heritage and rich culinary diversity. The annual event brought together government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives from tourism and travel agencies, alumni of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP), the business community, and Malaysians residing in Morocco. In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador Dato’ Shahabudeen Adam Shah highlighted that the festival reflects the strong and enduring ties between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Morocco. He also highlighted the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, inviting guests to experience Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and wide range of tourist attractions. Guests were treated to a sumptuous array of authentic Malaysian dishes prepared by PERWAKILAN Rabat, offering a culinary journey through Malaysia’s multicultural flavours. Adding to the festive atmosphere were captivating performances by Malaysian students, featuring Silat, Dikir Barat, and Nasyid, which showcased Malaysia’s artistic and cultural diversity.
