The new Malaysian Ambassador to Morocco, H.E. Othman Samin officially began his duty in Morocco after presenting the copy of his Letter of Credence to H.E. Mohamed Benaissa, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation on Monday, 26 February 2007.
Ambassador Othman previously served as the Malaysian Ambassador to Conakry, Guinea and the Malaysian Consul General in Guangzhou in China. A seasoned diplomat, Ambassador Othman also served in Mali, Libya and Iran throughout his career with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
Apart from Morocco, Ambassador Othman is also concurrently accredited to Tunisia and Mauritania.
