52ND NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION, MALAWAKIL YANGON
On 31st August 2009, the Embassy of Malaysia in Yangon had successfully hosted a reception in conjunction with the 52nd Anniversary of National Day of Malaysia. The reception was well attended with a total number of 370 guests comprising government officials, diplomatic community, local and foreign media, private sector representatives and Malaysians residing in Myanmar.
The guest of honour of the event was H.E Major General Maung Maung Swe, Minister of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and Madam.As our tradition and Malaysian hospitality all the guests were treated with Malaysian food and music and the backdrop of the event spice-up the event which reflected the “1Malaysia” concept.
