MALAYSIAN ASSOCIATION OF MYANMAR FAMILY DAY BONANZA 2009
On 16 August 2009, the Malaysian Association of the Union of Myanmar (MAM) in collaboration with the Embassy of Malaysia organised the MAM Family Bonanza at the Parkroyal Hotel, Yangon. The event was well attended by all Malaysian living in Myanmar and had attracted more than 100 participants.
The guest of honour H.E Dato’ Mazlan Muhammad, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Union of Myanmar in his opening remarks congratulated the MAM Exco members for successfully organising the Family Bonanza and took the opportunity to highlight to all Malaysians on the 1Malaysia concept introduced by YAB Prime Minister.
The event started with games for children and followed by activities for men, women and family. The organiser had also arranged for lucky draw which includes a grand prize of return ticket for one to Kuala Lumpur sponsored by Malaysia Airlines. The prizes were handed over to the winners by H.E Dato’ Mazlan Muhammad and Datin Norini Mokhtar. The Family Bonanza ended at about 9.00 pm.
