YB Khairy Jamaluddin, Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports visited Nay Pyi Taw, the capital of Myanmar on 11th – 14th December to attend the 27th SEA Games. The Minister attended the Opening Ceremony of the SEA Games at the Wunna Theikdi stadium on 11th December as the Myanmar Government’s Guest of Honour from Malaysia. He also visited the Games Village where the Malaysian contingent was staying and a few competitive events of the Games, including football, futsal, sepak takraw, badminton, karate, pencak silat, swimming, equestrian, snooker and basketball, among others.
