Delegation from Malaysian Airlines (MAS) paid a courtesy call-on Ambassador of Malaysia to Nepal

The delegation from Malaysian Airlines (MAS) paid a courtesy call on Dato’ Ilankovan Kolandavelu, Ambassador of Malaysia to Nepal on 29 January 2010. The delegation comprised of 7 members headed by Dato’ Bernard Francis, Senior General Manager – Sales and Marketing, MAS were in Kathmandu, Nepal from 28 – 30 January 2010. The delegation members met the Minister and Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, Chairman of Nepal Airlines, Deputy Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Chief Executing Officer of Nepal Tourism Board, President of Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Agents as well as chief of the Engineering Department of Yeti Airlines and Agni Airlines. The visit is to make preparation for MAS to operate the K.L. - Kathmandu sector latest by June 2010 and also to make a final determination on the appointment of General Sales Agent for Nepal.
