Karachi: Malaysia continues its tradition in participating at the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS-2012 Pakistan) from 7 to 11 November 2012 in Karachi. The nine-member delegation was led by the Deputy Chief of the Royal Malaysian Navy Vice Admiral Dato’ Mohammed Noordin Ali. Meanwhile, Deputy Under-Secretary Dato’ Mohamad Khalid Hj Shariff headed the team from the Ministry of Defence.
This year’s IDEAS has attracted 130 foreign firms and drawn delegates from 56 countries. Pakistan has a large defence manufacturing capabilities. It also offers strong support and training facilities for its defence products.
